The Feldenkrais Method® is a pioneering approach to mind-body awareness and movement education. At its core, Feldenkrais is designed to help you rewire your brain and body’s movement patterns, enabling you to discover and practice more efficient, pain-free ways of moving.
Through a series of gentle, guided movements, known as Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lessons, you are encouraged to focus on the nuances of each motion, becoming aware of habitual patterns that may limit ease and flexibility. These lessons provide a safe, exploratory environment, allowing you to connect with your body’s natural intelligence and create new, healthier movement options.
In addition to group classes, individual Feldenkrais sessions, called Functional Integration® (FI), offer a hands-on experience that is uniquely tailored to your specific needs. In FI sessions, the practitioner uses gentle, non-invasive touch to guide you through subtle movements, creating an experience of effortless motion and enhanced physical awareness.
The Feldenkrais Method has a profound effect on the nervous system, promoting neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to adapt and form new neural connections. This results in a remarkable transformation of posture, flexibility, balance, and coordination. MYÂ JOURNEY WITH FELDENKRAIS
I first discovered the Feldenkrais Method in 1995 during acting school, and it made a profound impact on my life. Among more than 13 different body-centered disciplines I explored, Feldenkrais stood out—it was unique and powerful in a way I could truly feel, transforming not only how I moved but how I perceived daily actions.
In 2007, while living in NYC, I faced a health crisis that reminded me of the holistic strength of Feldenkrais. Reconnecting with this practice changed my life once again, offering me renewed clarity and wellness.
Realizing the potential Feldenkrais had to support others on their healing journeys, I joined the professional training program that same year. Since then, I’ve had the honor of guiding people from around the world, both online and in person, as they experience the same transformative changes I did. I am deeply grateful for this work and the opportunity to share it with others.
